A SAFE Community Conversation

  • The Heartwood Center 615 Oak Street Sandpoint, ID 83864 USA (map)

Join this community conversation as Sandpoint Pride launches a year-round effort called Sandpoint Alliance for Equality (SAFE). In partnership with 10+ intentional service organizations, facilitated break-out groups will help foster a positive and productive conversation where queer voices are uplifted and heard.

At this event we will encourage LGBTQI2S and allied community members to share stories and information. We will discuss what affirming and inclusive resources and/or gaps exist in Sandpoint or our greater North Idaho community. Facilitated breakout sessions will be housing, medical/gender-affirming care, youth/parent support and, elder community.

Community partners who will be present and available to support discussions will be NIPA, NAMI, Fostering Idaho, The Human Connection, Banzai Therapy, Ethan Murray Fund, Spectrum, Safe Passages, ACLU Idaho, Legal Voice, Postpartum Support International Idaho, LGBTQ+ Seniors of the Inland Northwest and Pro-Voice Project.
